After making a strong impact since joining in 2022, Wanama Purnell has stepped into her new role as Project Manager I at m Strategic Partners—bringing vision, structure, and drive to every project she touches. Wanama brings over 10 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, with a strong administrative foundation that spans executive-level support and hands-on construction project coordination in both office and field settings. She has a unique ability to take big-picture concepts and bring them to life through planning, precision, and teamwork.

In her new role, Wanama leads the management of internal and external project processes, oversees documentation, and supports project execution alongside the Project Executive. She plays a key role in ensuring each project stays on schedule, on budget, and aligned with client expectations, while maintaining the high standards mSP is known for.

When asked what fuels her passion for this industry, Wanama shares, “I enjoy civil and structural engineering—watching a project come to life in the field and being part of the team that turns a vision into reality. Construction is where creativity meets execution, and I love being a part of that process.”

She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Houston Community College and is currently pursuing her PMP Certification to further expand her leadership capabilities.

Outside of the office, Wanama enjoys traveling with her family, relaxing in all-inclusive resorts, catching movies with her husband, soaking in live music, and serving her church community through volunteering.
