South Houston Elementary Playground Build 2018
In March 2018, m Strategic Partners participated in the KaBOOM! Playground Build at South Houston Elementary. Funded by UnitedHealthcare and organized by KaBOOM!, we worked alongside nearly 200 volunteers to transform an empty site into a state-of-the-art playground in only six hours. The playground was designed by the students and will provide the community with a safe place to play. In addition to the playground, the project included planting 10 trees, building six benches and two shade structures, and painting asphalt games throughout the two school courtyards.
