Mike Murphy joined the m Strategic Partners team in January 2021. As a senior project manager, Mike is responsible for quality assurance functions from planning through commissioning, and providing oversight and guidance of a project’s construction planning, schedule and safety, as well as facilitating coordination between owners, consultants and contractors

Mike brings more than 28 years of experience to m Strategic Partners with a background in project management, healthcare construction and healthcare operations management. He has served in various project support roles from Project Engineer through Sr. Project Manager on projects up to $290M.

What Mike finds rewarding about working in the A/E/C industry is being a contributor to projects that exceed the capacity and expertise of any single person. He says, “Each completed project stands as a team trophy for the group of professionals who worked together to deliver the finished project on time, on budget and compliant with project specifications. Together, we solve complicated problems, leverage our collective insights and creativity to deliver a project where patients receive care that can enhance their quality of life.”

Mike attended Saint Mary’s College of California where he earned a Bachelor’s in Management, and holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Rice University. Previously, Mike owned and operated a foundations company from 2013 to 2021.

Mike served in the US Air Force and is currently serving in the Texas State Guard. When he has free time, he is typically running. He enjoys carrying Old Glory while running all distances of road and trail runs in honor of those who have served our country. His longest run is 150 miles, and has completed over 30 marathon and 20 ultra marathons.
