Jay Mac Tekell joined m Strategic Partners in February 2023. Mac is one of our Project Managers, who brings over 5 years experience in the A/E/C Industry, with an MEP background in low voltage control systems, specifically, building automation, energy management, lighting and security systems. When asked why Mac enjoys the A/E/C industry, he responds with “In the A/E/C industry you get to see an idea drawn on paper come to life. It’s exciting to see the innovations from science and technology that are physically realized in our buildings today. A finished project is a great representation of teamwork and accomplishment. Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

Mac has a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. He has provided support on multiple projects ranging from healthcare, manufacturing, education, and commercial construction. Mac is also certified in Lean Six Sigma and he enjoys using those tools to help solve complex issues.

When Mac is not focusing on mSP projects you can find him playing sports and enjoying the outdoors such as golf, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, and hiking. He calls these his “guilty pleasures.” Once fall hits, he enjoys a good football game.
