Mike Murphy joined the m Strategic Partners team in January 2021 and has been a driving force in project execution ever since. As a Senior Project Manager, Mike leads quality assurance from planning through commissioning and provides oversight of construction planning, scheduling, safety, and coordination across all project stakeholders—including owners, consultants, and contractors.

Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in project management, healthcare construction, and operations management. His background includes roles ranging from Project Engineer to Senior Project Manager on complex projects valued up to $290 million. He also supports mSP’s MEQ Logistics Support service line, helping clients navigate the complexities of medical equipment planning, procurement, and installation to ensure seamless transitions from construction to activation.

Mike is passionate about being part of something bigger than himself—contributing to projects that require the collective effort of a highly skilled team. “Each completed project is a team trophy,” Mike says. “It represents the collaboration, ingenuity, and grit of professionals working together to create spaces that ultimately improve lives.”

Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Saint Mary’s College of California and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Rice University. Before joining mSP, he owned and operated a foundations company from 2013 to 2021.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mike continues his service in the Texas State Guard. In his free time, you’ll often find him pounding the pavement—or the trails—running long distances with the American flag in hand to honor fellow service members. He has completed over 30 marathons and 20 ultramarathons, including a grueling 150-mile run.
